Position: Senior Vice President, Business Development

Primary Purpose:
The Senior Vice President of Business Development will drive the expansion and growth of EquiCare by developing strategic partnerships and fostering long-term relationships with potential and existing clients. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in identifying new business opportunities, marketing EquiCare’s innovative solutions, and ensuring the alignment of our services with client needs. Your efforts will directly contribute to our sales targets and the company’s overall profitability.

Responsible For
  • Strategic Relationship Development: Cultivate new and existing relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive growth and expand EquiCare’s presence in the marketplace.
  • Client Needs Assessment: Gain in-depth knowledge of prospective clients’ operations and pain points, identifying opportunities to introduce EquiCare’s tailored solutions that address their specific needs.
  • Sales and Service Program Design: Lead the development of customized service programs, ensuring that they are aligned with client requirements and expectations, and oversee their smooth implementation.
  • RFP & Proposal Management: Coordinate resources to respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), crafting compelling proposals that showcase EquiCare’s unique value and competitive advantages.
  • Annual Business Plan: Develop and execute an annual sales and service plan, identifying potential clients, and outlining the strategies for introducing EquiCare’s services and meeting their needs effectively.
  • Collaboration & Team Leadership: Work closely with internal teams to ensure the alignment of sales strategies and operational support, driving successful program implementations and client satisfaction.

  • Education & Licensing: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, Finance, or related field. Advanced industry certifications such as CPCU or ARM are a plus.
